It looks as though 2PM’s Nichkhun will take some time off for self-reflection regarding his recent drunk-driving accident. JYP Entertainment stated on their official website on July 26, “Nichkhun wanted to give a statement of being very sorry. He would like to take some time off for self-reflection. He would like to appear in front of fans and Korean citizens with a new heart.”
Nichkhun will not be appearing at the Japanese and South Korean JYP Nation concert. Also, Nichkhun’s other schedules will be adjusted as well.
JYP Entertainment added, “The scheduled events that Nichkhun has signed contracts will be changed after discussion so that the contracted parties are not disadvantaged. We deeply apologize that an artist associated with JYP Entertainment has caused such an incident. We will try even harder so that an incident like this will not happen within JYP Entertainment.”
