Airport Fashion: Yunho In Thom Browne

At the end of last month, the hottest names in K-pop headed to Hong Kong to take part in a special concert for the KBS program Music Bank. The event was taped and broadcast later as their mid-year special episode. No All-Star line-up would be complete without the inclusion of TVXQ, so the duo added yet another stamp to their well-worn passports.

Yunho looked perfectly preppy in black-framed glasses and an ensemble from American designer Thom Browne. He wore the label’s classic oxford button down ($320) with a pair of side tab shorts ($534 $160). The shirt features the designer’s signature red, white and blue stripe detail, while the shorts are composed of several different colored fabric panels.

He toted a fancy carry-on piece from famed French luggage maker Goyard. The extremely exclusive brand, which also makes other accessories such as handbags and wallets, is only available in sixteen retail locations worldwide. Half of those stores, however, are located in Asia and Goyard has become increasingly popular with K-pop stars including TOP and G-Dragon of Big Bang, Hyunseung and Jun-hyung of Beast and T-ara‘s Hyomin.  Yunho’s case is the Ambassade 24H ($3900), made of the Goyard’s trademark chevron-print canvas in black and finished with tan leather accents.
