B.A.P 'ONE SHOT' Tops Germany Music Chart for 3 Months

 

B.A.P has ranked number 1 for 3 months on the Germany music chart with their song, "ONE SHOT" Their constant high ranking on these charts has proved their popularity overseas.

 

According to the May German Asian Music Chart, their song "ONE SHOT" from their second mini album, has been ranked number 1 for the past 3 months. Many other top stars have also been seen on this chart as well. Although B.A.P has finished their promotional activities for that album, the song continues to stay at the number 1 spot, showing its immense popularity.

B.A.P, who debuted last January, had their song, "No Mercy" chosen as 'this year's song' as it ranked number 1 for 2 months right after their debut. They also stayed in the top 10 for 16 months and is the only K-Pop artist to continuously stay on the German charts.

Recently, B.A.P started their world tour which does not include Germany or the U.K, Russia, Spain and other European countries.

B.A.P's pacific tour has been successful in the states and in Japan and they are continuing their way on to Taiwan and Hong Kong to meet their fans.

 

Announcements Rain Signs with CUBE Entertainment

On May 28, CEO Hong Seung Sung wrote a long message on the company’s official website updating fans and the public about Rain’s addition to the company. “2013’s spring, Rain and Hong Seung Sung are standing here before a new start. Even though Rain had a lot of offers, he decided to join us [our agency] because he wants to go back to his roots and he is more passionate than ever.”

The CEO continued, “I remember May 2002, where we got to see world star Rain’s debut stage and I can’t hide the excitement just thinking about that spring. Afterwards, many beautiful springs have come to pass.”

He went on, “He’s a singer, actor and producer and have set a lot of records as ‘the first.’ You’ll be able to witness the beginning of Rain’s second wave now, who doesn’t know limits and have shown his potential by becoming a world star entertainer.”

In closing, Hong Seung Sung wrote, “With that thought, I want to thank Rain for his loyalty despite receiving many offers from other places. Also, during his trainee years, he constantly aimed for ten years ahead, which resulted in today’s passionate Rain. I’m preparing every single day like a partner and friend. I promise that I will return your never ending love and support for Rain and make sure the company leaves a beautiful legacy. I will wholeheartedly and sincerely do my best as his partner. A representative from the industry spoke, “The talk about Rain and Cube Entertainment has been awhile, it was something within expectation” and, “Cube Entertainment obviously have a powerful line up as good as the Big 3″, he said.

 Meanwhile, Rain will be discharged from active duty on July 10th 2013.

SISTAR Bora, 'I Would Not Date Song Joong Ki'

 

 Bora SISTAR shared her thoughts about her dream guy, Song Joong Ki.

On May 20, Bora appeared as a guest on Mnet's 'Beatles Code 2' during which past clips of SISTAR's interview was played.

As mentioned in multiple interviews and TV shows, Bora's dream guy is actor Song Joong Ki. The hosts of the show pushed the envelope a bit, fishing for more by asking "What about him do you like so much?"

Bora replied, "He really is my dream guy. I am truly his fan. But ideals are just ideals, no more, no less. 

People around me ask why I don't try to meet him but I don't think that is a good idea. I am actually quite sorry that his names get mentioned so much because of me."

Taken aback by Bora's serious remark, the hosts asked, "Even if Song Joong Ki asks you out first? What if he goes on his knees and pleads?" Bora did not budge an inch, as she answered, "Still not going to happen."

But when Tak Jae Hoon, one of the hosts, made a fake phone call to Song Joong Ki and said that he is going to visit the studio, Bora's face went red, prompting a huge laughter.

Lee Hong Ki and Lee Seung Gi Want To Be Bad Guys

 

Lee Hong Ki and Lee Seung Gi want to be bad, that is, they both want to try playing bad guys.

Playing a troublemaking pop star in his new movie, "Passionate Goodbye" is not bad enough for FT Island's Lee Hong Ki. In the future, he wants to act the part of someone really bad, maybe even the devil.

It's not the first time he has played a pop star, as he was Jeremy, a member of the band Anjell in "You're Beautiful." But he says acting the part of the biggest pop star in Korea was a stretch.

"I'm not the best in reality," said Lee Hong Ki, who worried so much about his performance that he could not sleep. "I do complain a lot in real life though, so that part of my role was not difficult."

But he would like to stretch his acting abilities even more. To avoid being typecast and maybe provide a contrast to the adorable Jeremy, he would like to be one of the bad guys.

"I would like to play parts that are not singers," said Lee Hong Ki, 23, at a recent press conference. "Roles like monsters in science fiction, vampires or that devil figure in the film "Death Note."

In his new film, his idol singer character is forced to do hospice work, which makes him realize what's important in life. It premieres on May 30.

At a press conference for his popular drama, "Gu Family Book," Lee Seung Gi also expressed the desire to play a bad guy. The role of the spoiled rich kid in "Shining Inheritance" is about as bad a character as he has taken on so far. Playing a character that lives off his grandmother's money was just not bad enough.

"I want to try acting in a villain role some day," he said. "But having life experience is important for a role like that so I think I'll try it around the time I'm in my late 30s and 40s." 

Lee Seung Gi, 26, also played a prince in MBC's King 2 Hearts, a student in the SBS drama, "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho."

Like Lee Hong Ki, he is good at playing "cute," but he thinks he will have to try a villainous role if he wants to score any serious awards. He may be up for an award this year. His new series, "Gu Family Book," in which he plays a half-human, half-mythical creature, has consistently won the ratings for its time slot. He also earned praise from fellow actors for his total immersion in the role.

Taecyeon And Jessica Dating: So Many Rumors

 

He says they only met for coffee. She says they are just friends. Both their entertainment agencies say that the fact that 2PM's Taecyeon and Girls Generation's Jessica met up recently in Japan does not mean they are dating. And yet the rumors keep on circulating.

In fact, rumors about the singer/actor and singer/actress dating have been circulating since 2010. And that's how long everyone involved has been denying them.

When Taecyeon recently appeared on the MBC talk show "Radio Star," to promote 2PM's comeback with the singles, "Come Back When You Hear This Song" and "A.D.T.O.Y." he tried to explain the photographs taken of them in Japan.

The idol actor, who appeared in "CInderella's Sister" and "Dream High," said that when he heard Jessica was in Japan, he suggested they meet after he finished up at the gym. It was just a casual meet-up between good friends.

 "Taecyeon and I are just good friends, nothing more," said Jessica, who appeared in the drama "Wild Romance." "We have a lot in common, such as our American upbringing, but we are not dating. Truthfully, I don't think I could ever date him, because I just can't forget my first love."

Shortly thereafter both agencies made their official statements. But it's not the first time, the agencies had to publicly deny the relationship.

In 2011, after the two were seen eating at a café and she drove him home to his dorm, there were also lots of rumors. Then Taecyeon's agency, JYP Entertainment, released a statement saying that all members of 2PM and SNSD are close to one another. Jessica and Taecyeon specifically have a close friendship, but they are definitely not dating."

Jessica's agency, SM Entertainment, issued a statement saying that "rumors of them dating are groundless."

At that time Jessica attempted to explain why they could not date by offering information about her mysterious first love. She met her first love during her trainee days.

"He seemed rather indifferent, like he didn't think much of me one way or another, but I definitely liked him and made my feelings clear after a short time," said Jessica.

She described her memories as precious and said she would get goosebumps every time her mystery love touched her. But when pressed for his identity, she could only come up with a first name, "Aircon." This sparked a frenzied Internet search among fans with no results. Was the name made up? No one could find out her mystery lover's identity. Two years later no one has.

Taecyeon was recently quoted as saying he would date his "We Got Married: Global Edition" pretend wife, Chinese actress Gui Gui in real life, but she was quoted as saying she did not think it would work out. The poor guy seems to have a hard time getting a date and, if the Jessica rumors are false, then he has been consigned once again to the friend zone.

LeeSsang Clears Up Controversy Surrounding Its New Building and Eviction Claims

 

The People′s Coalition for Land Justice had told the press on May 21 that after LeeSsang had purchased a building in Sinsa-dong in May 2012, it had told a man who owned a restaurant in the building without prior notice that it would not extend its renting contract with the man, practically forcing the restaurant out of the building.

With these claims, many came to believe that LeeSsang had been abusing its power as the owner of the building to evict powerless shop owners.

Gil, however, countered that "it is not true that LeeSsang forcefully refused to extend the contract."

He said it was true that Gil and Gary had purchased under both of their names a building in May 2012, and said, "Though we got a 3.6 billion won debt, we took it to fulfill a bigger dream we had."

"The building became LeeSsang′s in May 2012, and we decided to enter the building in August. Suddenly, around June, a man who had been renting a space appeared at our home and told my mother, who had been alone, that he would not be leaving the building. My mother was very surprised at the sudden visit and so were we," he added.

He then said, "Through a representative, we told the man that we would not extend his contract with the building once his first contract expires, and attempted to decide on proper compensation out of responsibility. The renter, however, demanded 300 million won, and our representative told him that was too much. The renter went on to say, like he was aiming to ruin our image, that he would ′put up a placard or something′, and added that he would ′continue to run [the restaurant]′ as he would not leave no matter what. How do you think we would have been able to meet peacefully in such an emotional situation?"

Gil continued, "If we had been abusing our power, our actions would have come to light in court. He is not eligible for renter protection under the law. What could we have done? Now we′ve become greedy people based on the renter′s claims."

Despite coming to harm, Gil said LeeSsang will not be taking any legal measures against the man.

"We′re not thinking of bringing charges of slander or defamation against him. We just wanted to let more people know of the truth because many facts have been twisted around," he finished.

JoKwon Has Fun Backstage With 2PM And 4Minute

On May 19, 2AM member JoKwon uploaded a series of photos he took with members of 2PM and 4Minute. He made adorable captions such as, “Five Minutes ” with his photo with 4Minute and then made adorable poses with 2PM members Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Junho, Wooyoung, Chansung and Jun. K. The artists appear to be gathered in the waiting room before going on stage for Inkigayo, where JoKwon performed with 4Minute for a special joint stage performance.

In related news, 2PM has been busy promoting “Come Back When You Hear This Song,” while 4Minute took the Inkigayo trophy home this past weekend for “What’s Your Name?“  JoKwon also finished wrapping up musical “Jesus Christ Superstar” as King Herod and has been busy with filming drama “God of the Workplace.”

 

Seo Taiji Spends $5 Million on New Home for Him And Fiancee Lee Eun Sung

 

Seo Taiji made a surprise announcement on his homepage several days ago that he will remarry to actress Lee Eun Sung, who is sixteen years younger. Recently, information has been revealed about the house he’ll live in with his bride-to-be.

On May 19, MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News” aired a segment covering Seo Taiji and Lee Eun Sung. The house is in Pyeongchang-dong, located in the upper-crust of Seoul. A real estate agent shared, “The size of the house is 300 pyong (about 10,675 square feet). If you combine the land’s worth and construction cost, it comes out to be 5,000,000won (about $5 million).”

The expert continued, “It’s a luxurious house with a garden and a swimming pool. Usually, construction for a new home takes about six months. However, from the rumors around the neighborhood, this house took about two years.”

An official from “Section TV Entertainment News” called Seo Taiji’s agency and asked, “When will [Seo Taiji] get married?” His side responded, “There’s no date set yet. We received word that he wants to it to be done quietly.”

On May 19, actress Han Ye Seul was interviewed for MBC‘s “Section TV Celebrity Talk” where the reporter informed her, “A while back, Sunggyu stated that he would like to star in MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘ with you.” She responded while chuckling, “What a good boy.”

Tiffany Reveals That a New Girls’ Generation Album and a TTS Album Will Be Released This Year in DFLA Interview

 

During Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany‘s recent trip to Los Angeles, not only did she throw out the first pitch at a Dodgers game, she also had a photoshoot for First Look magazine and was interviewed by Danny for his show Danny From LA.

In the interview, she mentions that both a Girls’ Generation album and a TaeTiSeo (TTS) album are planned for this year.

Tiffany stated “Yea, definitely more this year. We have another album with the nine, and we have another album with the trio as well.”

She goes on to talk about a future possibility of doing something solo when the time is right.

Joo Won Injures Nose and Continues Filming for “1 Night 2 Days”

 

The youngest member of variety program “1 Night 2 Days,” actor Joo Won shows his strong fighting spirit when he decides to continue filming despite injuring his nose.

On May 18, his agency revealed that Joo Won injured nose while filming for KBS’s “1 Night 2 Days” last week, He was immediately sent to the emergency room to get treated, but the actor later came back to the filming site to continue filming.

The members of the program were playing a game of special football where their pride was on the line. Joo Won had the role of “king” in the game, but he accidentally hit his nose against a member’s face. Filming was stopped to assess his injury and he was sent to the hospital.

It’s been reported that the actor previously injured his nose in the beginning this year while filming for the drama “7th Grade Civil Servant.”

Meanwhile, Joo Won will be Kim Ah Joong’s man through the movie “Only You.” He will show how a police officer falls in love with her character.

Gary Misunderstands Song Ji Hyo’s Declaration of Love

 

On the recent episode of SBS’s “Running Man,” which was aired on May 19, Uhm Jung Hwa and Kim Sang Kyung appeared as special guests to play the game of “Arrest the Traitor.”

During the show, Song Ji Hyo received a mission, which involved shouting out the name of someone she loves three times and writing this person’s name with her bum three times. Song Ji Hyo chose her mother’s name, and started to carry out the mission.

As she wrote her mother’s name with her bum, Gary spotted her. He said admiringly, “There is nothing Ji Hyo can’t do.” Then he also added, “I think she is writing my name…”

After successfully completing the game, Song Ji Hyo happily shouted out “I love you.” She meant it for her mother, but Gary, who heard it from afar, decided that Song Ji Hyo was claiming her love for him. Gary answered her, “Ok,” making everyone at the set laugh.

EXO has released yet another teaser photo for their upcoming comeback as a twelve-member group. The photo shows all twelve members celebrating a win for their “XOXO” team. Wooyoung and Jokwon Drank Together Due to Solo Album Failure

2PM member Wooyoung recently revealed, “After Jokwon and I experienced little to no success with our solo albums, we met up to have a glass of soju.”

On May 14, 2PM’s Wooyoung made a guest appearance on MBC‘s “Radio Star.”

On that day, Wooyoung opened up about how despite all the promotional activities he put forth, his solo album didn’t do so well.

He said, “They would say that Jokwon and I went head-to-head on our solo albums, but to be honest I don’t know who did better. We even had a glass of soju together.”

He also went on to say, “I wouldn’t want to be the one to give other members advice on how to necessarily launch a solo album… I think that’s something you should experience yourself in order to understand what it’s like.”

TV Program Visits CNBlue’s Hotel Room While They’re Sleeping

On May 18, KBS’s “Entertainment Relay” aired a segment where the program’s crew surprised the members ofCNBlue with a special visit to their hotel.

When the crew went inside CNBlue’s room, they found all the members resting and Jung Yong Hwa sleeping in bed. When he realized that they had visitors, Jung Yong Hwa woke up with a surprise and started to check his face hurriedly on the camera. However, despite the fact that he just woke up, Jung Yong Hwa still looked handsome.

On the other hand, Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Jong Hyun did not appear to care if their bare faces were seen. They continued to rest and play the guitar comfortably. However when the camera got close, Kang Min Hyuk made everyone laugh as he said, “But I would like to look good on the screen.”

According to Ji Yeon, her first kiss was when she was shooting a kiss scene with Yoo Seung Ho for T-ara’s “Lies” music video.  It is time for 2NE1 fans to go crazy! On May 17, YG Blog recently revealed a teaser image that commemorated the 4^th year anniversary of 2NE1’s comeback. The teaser image had the exciting words “ARE YOU READY?” written on them.

This appears to be YG Entertainment’s first official statement regarding that on May 28 CL will have her first solo album release, and 2NE1 will soon be releasing a new single. 2NE1 recently finished a very successful world tour with the company Live Nation.

9 Muses Forced to Change Costumes for “Music Bank” Deemed Too Sexual

 

This will be a bit of sad news for 9 Muses fans. Interestingly enough, the 9 Muses had to suddenly change their costumes as an emergency. (Recently they also had some trouble because their music video and teaser for the music video was deemed explicit).

Today on May 17, they will appear on a performance of KBS2 “Music Bank” with their new mini album’s title song “Wild.” On this day, they were going to perform Park Ji Yoon’s popular song “Coming of Age Ceremony.” The reason for this is that, the May 17 show of “Music Bank” is a 700^th show special, where each group/singer will be doing one of their songs and one song from one of their seniors.

The 9 Muses, wore the same type of costume that Park Ji Yoon did for her performances with “Coming of Age Ceremony.” However, the production team of “Music Bank” stated that, “They look too sexual” and asked that the costumes be changed.

Im Siwan of ZE:A Wears Pink Underwear

 

Im Siwan of ZE:A’s unit group ZE:A Five shared some very interesting news! It looks like he wears pink underwear?!?! Im Siwan said the weird news on the cable channel MBC Music’s “All The K-Pop.” On the show, Im Siwan talked about his “obsession” with the color pink.

On “All The K-Pop” Im Siwan showed all of the things that he had which were all pink. The other members of ZE:A Five said, “Im Siwan’s underwear is also pink.” They then added, “He looks pretty and good looking so he looks great in pink.”

Well it looks as though Im Siwan isn’t the only member with a weird obsession. The member Dong Jun enjoys leopard patterns. The other ZE:A Five members stated, “He loves leopard patterns and is obsessed with it. However, he cannot wear a see-through leopard pattern underwear that he received from fans.”

Wow, Super Junior Kangin fans eat your heart out! Recently, he tweeted a picture of himself where he looks very manly and smashing. On May 16, Kangin posted on his twitter, “The weather is amazing. I was sitting on the terrace and getting some fresh air. Oh ho, so good, so good.”

Ki Sung Yueng Explains Rumors and Apologizes to Soon-to-be Wife Han Hye Jin on His Facebook

 

On May 17, soccer player Ki Sung Yueng posted a long letter to his fans regarding his upcoming wedding in July and apologizing to his soon-to-be wife actress Han Hye Jin on his facebook.

The post starts out, “I wanted to write sooner, but only got to come around to it now. To be honest, I’ve been thinking about marrying Han Hye Jin since when I first started dating her.”

He continued and talked about the difficulties of being a celebrity couple. He said, “Both she and I thought about all the challenges we have faced. Since we receive great attention from other people due to the nature of our jobs, things have been rather difficult. I should have been able to protect and love Hye Jin, who’s an actress, but…” 

He also explained the initials embroidered on his soccer cleats, which first sparked the public’s curiosity about Ki Sung Yueng’s possible girlfriend. He explained, “I didn’t mean much when I embroidered those initials. I just really wanted to have that loving feelings I have for her when I’m on the field, so I didn’t think much before putting them on my cleats. I felt so bad that I didn’t get to protect Hye Jin. I knew I wanted to marry her, spend the rest of my life with her, so I couldn’t help but to feel sorry for her and about the situation, what I have caused in her life.”

Ki Sung Yueng also told his and Han Hye Jin’s fans to stop making up or believing rumors about the couple’s relationship and upcoming wedding. He said, ” The main reason why I’m writing this, is because I realize that there are many stories about us circulating around and I think it’s only right to straighten things out myself. I understand that many of you are worried about us due to our special circumstances. But I just wanted to let you know that I want to marry Hye Jin for the right reasons. She’s always so considerate and praying for me. She’s someone I could lean on throughout the rest of my life. She is so passionate about her job, doing the best she can in acting. I was scared at first, but I knew that this was going to be the biggest regret in my life if I let go of her. I just wanted to spend the rest of my life next to her.”

He continued, “It took us unusually short period of time since when we first started seeing each other until we made the decision to get married. I just wanted to clarify that it’s not because I’m lonely and living alone. I wanted to show Hye Jin that I mean it when I say that she makes me happy and I want to spend the rest of my life with her. And I thought action speaks louder than words. I’m so in love with Hye Jin and am beyond excited about creating a family with her. No matter what other people have to say, all I want to do right now is to just embrace Hye Jin tightly in my arms.”

Lastly, he ended the post by saying, “We will live together well. She’s not pregnant like so many of you are assuming right now. I’d like to meet little-Ki, too, but not now. I would like to sincerely thank all of you who are so supportive of us. I will try my best to improve myself as a soccer player, too. This moment in my life is probably the happiest moment of my life. I will strive to live a fuller, happier life from here on.” 

Ki Sung Yueng and Han Hye Jin announced their plans to marry each other on May 10, only after about three months of dating. Currently, Han Hye Jin is filming upcoming movie”When a Man Loves” and Ki Sung Yueng is still in season, playing soccer in England. The details of the wedding have not been announced yet.
